My story
My name is Mona Bilgeri. I was born in the southern Harz Mountains in the winter of 1989. Although my education and career were long characterized by security and rational decisions, I have found my true fulfillment in creative work since childhood.
In 2025, I took the plunge and began pursuing my art professionally. Today, I paint to enrich spaces and touch people with aesthetic and emotional works.
My art
My art deals with what makes us the people we are and with the question of what of that truly corresponds to our own nature.
From an early age, I recognized creativity as a special gift within myself. Today, it is my language for making visible what shapes us: expectations, beliefs, and roles that we adopt throughout our lives and eventually mistake for our own identity.
In each of my works, I explore these influences, what shapes us, limits us, and at the same time becomes part of our history.
I believe that identity arises not only from what we are given, but also from what we consciously make of it.
My art is therefore an invitation to take a closer look: at our own imprints, at our own nature, and at the question of who we can be if we find the courage to truly recognize ourselves.
For true value arises where we no longer try to conform to an idea, but give expression to our own being.
